TJ has been in the veterinary field for 29 years. He started his career as a kennel attendant and soon realized his love for veterinary medicine. He quickly started to train as a veterinary technician and worked for years helping countless patients. His calming nature with cats would often have him referred to as the "cat whisperer". Opportunities with Catzablanca soon began his role in different management positions. All of his experience in multiple roles of Catzablanca led him to the position he holds today as Practice Manager. From time to time you may see him in his business attire helping and teaching where needed and providing the very best care for all of our patients!
MaryJeanne has been in the veterinary field for over 30 years, 26 of those have been at Catzablanca. She started working as a technician at Catzablanca shortly after it opened. MaryJeanne still enjoys utilizing her technical and nursing skills to this day, as well as mentoring others who share the same passion for the feline veterinary technician field. Along the lines of healing, MaryJeanne is a Reiki practitioner, and is one of the staff who offer Reiki treatments for our patients.
Loving animals since a young child, Michelle first began a passion for feline veterinary care by volunteering at CATALES cat shelter. She found her kennel attendant position through the agricultural program she took in high school and began working at Catzablanca in 2006. Her love for cats only developed more as time went on and eventually, Michelle became a veterinary technician. After a brief period in human medicine, Michelle returned to Catzablanca as the Front Office Manager. She is currently working on her Bachelors in Psychology and outside of work enjoys spending time with her 3 cats: Donnie, Delta, and Dino.

Jana is a licensed vet tech, including a certification in hospice and end of life palliative care, who has worked at Catzablanca for 17 years now. While she began her career working with small animals, she has been at 2 feline-only practices for nearly 20 years. She prefers working with cats and even has 4 at home. Her cats, Gus, Nessa, Zoe, and Ralphie are her other kids aside from her daughter Kat. She looks forward to meeting new patients everyday, and working with the established.
Kayla started at Catzablanca in January of 2014. She volunteered for 8 months before being hired as a kennel attendant. She spent a lot of time as a volunteer socializing cats who were up for adoption (including our own Don Q who was feral at the time), and spending time with cats in boarding who needed extra TLC. When she was a kennel attendant, she worked alongside the technicians and was admirable of the work they did alongside the doctors and decided she wanted to do that for herself. She graduated from MXCC’s vet tech program and passed her VTNE in August of 2018 and started working as a veterinary technician at Catzablanca. She typically spends her days working alongside Dr. Dupont as her technician. Outside of work, she loves going to concerts, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends and 2 cats - Milo, and Chicken.
Kelly has had a love affair with cats since a young age. Her lifelong dream is to work in Cheetah research and preservation. She started her path in veterinary medicine at 19 years old as a receptionist, working in both CT and Seattle. Kelly has always wanted to work for a cat-centered vet hospital, and was thrilled to join the Catzablanca team as a technician in late 2021. She has a keen interest in feline behavior, and is working to further her studies. She has had quite a menagerie of cats in her household over the years, and would love to adopt more, but currently her wild boy "Hilton" (pictured) wants to be the one and only! Hilton is spoiled (as he should be) by her family, and lives as king of the house in Durham. When Kelly is not working at Catzablanca, she works for Middlesex Health in education. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, freelance writing/art, gardening, and reading.
Hi my name is Kaylee, I am a Veterinary Assistant/Technician here at Catzablanca and I of course, love animals. Growing up my passion to help animals and advocate for their needs grew stronger and as a child dreamed of being a veterinarian. I’m finally following the career path I’ve always wanted and educating clients on how to provide the best life for their pet. I still am always learning and improving my ability to help animals. I share my home with 3 adventurous cats, Karma, Wolf and Moon and enjoy spending time hiking with family.
ChaCha is Catzablanca's newest house cat. She is the third female house cat in the 32 year history of the clinic! ChaCha found a home with us around a time of house cat loss at Catzablanca and has worked on helping us heal. She can be found with Michelle at her desk most days or near the back door catching some rays!
